Job Title - Key Account Manager/Senior Executive

Job Purpose - Critical success factors for the business is to penetrate health care sector, closely partner with customers for customized solutions & cost effective products. Will manage & deliver strategies for healthcare business to meet company objectives.

Role - Lead the development of business across the organization to provide leadership in the market in healthcare sector.
- Build processes & Competencies, capabilities, systems & processes to execute Company strategies on business development in healthcare sector.
- Liaise & coordinate with global team to transfer & share capabilities, best practices & benchmarks.
- Coach a stable & inspired team aligned to corporate culture & values.

Reports to - Business Development Manager - Last Updated: Oct 2010

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand customer and market needs and opportunities to develop strategies for healthcare products/solutions.
- Organize team & processes to identify new opportunities for current products.
- Organize resources and manage critical customer projects to deliver customer satisfaction.
- Define and execute systems and commercial competencies to support the customers to deliver solutions and best of class services.
- Create team & processes to develop solutions for new market segments/markets.
- Plan & manage Sales operating budgets and value additions to meet customer & company financial.
- To be overall responsible for all account activities and services to specified customers so as to achieve business targets.
- Plan and execute to maximize sales opportunities, promote and secure sales from the given set of accounts.
- Lead and manage in the customer relationship building.
- Work closely and effectively with local and overseas counterparts to ensure continual support.
- Increase sales volume and market share in the customers assigned.
- Responsible for achieving identified revenue targets.
- Responsible for developing a complete account strategy, creating and executing account plan
- Responsible for developing and maintaining strong business relationships with key and influential customer contacts.
- Identify Market trends (products, customers, suppliers, technologies).
- Maintain frequent contact with all key functional organizations at each customer site that influence the selection and commitment to Stokvis products and services
- Identify and analyze customer's needs and behavior to effectively develop strategic customer relationship
- Strive for and drive to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction ratings
- Assure sustainable growth through Early Supplier Involvement, Private label & similar strategies
- Deployment first choice product line
- Delivers input for new investments & process changes
- Compile monthly sales and pipeline reports monthly reports, sales forecast reports, prospect sheet and important visit reports

Business Dev Manager

Qualifications:

- Preferably experience handling Key Accounts in Healthcare Industry
- Prepared to travel when required
- Technical sales background of at least 4-5 years experience
- Conversant in English
- Education level: BE Electronics/MBA from reputed institute.
- Good communication skills to build up relations with people on different levels
- Self starter and result oriented
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently
- Good business acumen and ability to manage customers effectively
- Strong personality and can work under pressure


Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree, B.Tech/B.E, M.B.A/PGDM
